Use your phone when you are recording a conversation happening in the room, or one you are holding to your ear. For anything on your laptop (Zoom, Teams, Meet) use Junior for Mac and Windows instead, which can hear both sides.

Record something

  1. Tap the record button at the bottom right of the screen.
  2. Allow microphone access when your phone asks. Junior only asks the first time.
  3. Recording starts on its own, as soon as the screen opens. Talk for at least a minute.
  4. Tap End.

Say out loud that you are recording before you start. It is the one habit worth building on day one. See getting consent.

Save it

  1. Choose a Project. This is the only field you have to fill in.
  2. Add the Expert name, Job title, Organization and Country if you know them. All optional, and this is the only screen that can set them, so do it now.
  3. Tap Save call.

Junior uploads the recording and starts processing it. You do not have to stay in the app, but do not close it while the upload is still running.
